Overview

A packaging plant entered its annual shutdown with a 60-point welding deficiency list — cracked guards, worn chutes, failed brackets, and tired handrails. One ArcForge crew cleared every point in five days, and the plant restarted on time.

The Challenge

Shutdown hours are the most expensive hours in manufacturing. Points were scattered across three buildings, several needed parts fabricated from scratch, and everything had to be done, cleaned, and documented before Monday's first shift.

Our Approach

We pre-walked the list, pre-cut common steel, and ran the crew in pairs with a runner — welders never left their stations to fetch material. Each point was photo-verified and signed off with the maintenance manager nightly, so Friday held no surprises.
