Overview

A 40,000-square-foot distribution center needed its full steel package — columns, beams, joist seats, and deck closures — welded, plumbed, and signed off in nine weeks. ArcForge put two crews on rotating shifts and finished four days early.

The Challenge

The erector fell behind before we mobilized, compressing our window by two weeks. Worse, the inspector required full weld logs on every moment connection — no log, no deck. We inherited a delayed site with zero tolerance for more delay.

Our Approach

We split the frame into color-coded zones, assigned a foreman per zone, and ran fit-up one shift ahead of welding so arcs never waited on steel. Each connection was logged with welder ID, rod, and photo the same day — the inspector signed floors without a single re-check.
